SpaceED sub-committee completed their review of the proposal for 2017 N&M Sarigul-Klijn Space Engineering/Flight Research award. Since the top two proposals ranked the same, the committee identified two winners of the 2017 N&M Sarigul-Klijn Space Engineering/Flight Research award. Two winners will equally split the total award amount (tie).
Winners of the 2017 N&M Sarigul-Klijn Flight Research/Space Engineering Award are
“Zhongqi Jia”, a Ph.D. Student, and
“Matthew Mills”, a Ph.D. Student
“Background on N&M Sarigul-Klijn Flight Research/Space Engineering Award: Endowed on 17 December 2003 in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of powered flight with a purpose of encouraging students to conduct research in flight related areas. Congratulations to Zhongqi and Matthew. They will each receive a check in the amount of $750 (equal split of the total award amount). Both are graduate students in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department.
