Born and raised in Jamaica, Nadia came to UC Davis where she is currently pursuing
her PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Her research deals with hydrogen production where she will focus on
exploring hydrogen production using a stratified reforming setup which combines steam and autothermal
reforming in a single system. In addition to her academic interests Nadia also stays active in campus
life where is currently a co-chair for the Black Graduate and Professional Student Association. In her spare
time she enjoys working out and traveling to new places.
