Tomales Bay Launch Pad.
Taking off from this site was quite a rush. I was already a little anxious from my engine betraying me, so the successful launch had relief already built in. Beforehand, I walked over here to take a good look at where I'd go if the engine faltered again. I felt this extremely unlikely, but better to check it out first, right? Seconds after airborne I was beyond this hill, the ground immediately dropping below and putting me 600' up and against the first whisps of coastal clouds. Totally, totally unforgettable.
