Professor Aldredge is interested in reacting-fluid dynamics, including laminar and turbulent combustion, biotransport and bio-fluid dynamics. Recent projects include modeling and simulation of flame propagation in unsteady multiscale flow, simulation of blood-flow dynamics in the vicinity of a fluid-emanating catheter designed for vascular imaging, and evaluation of DNA degradation from fire exposure.
