Chevron Tutoring Center

Need help with your courses? Here are some resources for academic assistance.

The Chevron Tutoring Center launched in the 2016 winter quarter, by way of a generous donation from the Chevron Corporation. The center set out to offer in-house tutoring for courses with the intention of enhancing the learning experience for all students, both within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and beyond. The Chevron Tutoring Center partnered with UC Davis Academic Assistance and Tutoring Centers to hire and train a tutor for each individual course. You can learn more about the Chevron Tutoring Center on the UC Davis Giving website.

Chevron Tutoring Program

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers FREE drop-in tutoring for assistance in ENG 102, 103, 105, EME 106 and 165 and Python programming. Our tutors have an excellent understanding of the course concepts and have already completed these challenging engineering core classes with exemplary achievement. Tutors are equipped to assist on a one-on-one or group basis.

All questions are welcome, but students are encouraged to bring a specific problem, a set of problems or even a concept that is difficult to understand or apply. Tutoring is offered on a drop-in basis.

For specific hours, students may contact the AATC directly and may make an appointment to speak with a tutor via zoom: https://tutoring.ucdavis.edu/engineering

**No tutoring during week 1, on University holidays or during Finals Week**

The department would like to acknowledge the generous financial support of Chevron for our tutoring program.
