Over the last three decades, engineering mechanics has been exploited to yield success in the exploration of Mars. This talk will highlight a few examples of engineering mechanics being used to save billions of dollars of U.S. investment and create an ever-expanding understanding of Mars – and Earth’s place in the solar system.

Adam Steltzner '90 of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Chief Engineer for the Mars Perseverance Rover, will be the speaker for this event.

The event is free; please register by April 23, 2021.
