Job Opportunity: Unit 18 Temporary Lecturers Pool
The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering seeks to recruit a pool of part-time Temporary Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses starting in the 2026-27 Academic Year. These positions are dependent upon the instructional needs.
Salary and appointment level are commensurate with experience. Actual salary is based on percentage of appointment: One four-unit course per quarter is equivalent to 33% appointment. Appointments are contingent on instructional needs. These positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Appointment Date: Several appointments may be made each year. A selected candidate may be assigned only one course in any quarter. Service dates are: Fall, Winter, and Spring
